Little Tykes Children's Ministry
There are many opportunities for spiritual development available to your child here at Smyrna Baptist Church. Smyrna is dedicated to offering the best possible environment, leadership and Bible teaching for school-aged (grades 1-5) children. Our goal is that every experience a child has here will move him/her toward spiritual, mental, and physical maturity. We view our work with children as a ministry not only to the child but to the family as well.

GOD's SPECIAL FORCES - a Sunday School class for special needs children is currently looking for that special someone to take over class instuction once
Mrs. Katja Lowrance moves back to Texas. Katja and Lowrance family - you will be missed!! (The classroom is located across from the kitchen in Room 106 and will specifically tailored for children with special needs.)
Our Sunday School program (9:45 a.m.) is divided by age and development within the school-aged area. In the children's area classes are divided as follows:

Child Care Guidelines
Please adhear to the following guidelines to ensure your child has the best
experience possible while visiting our Child Care Facilities:
Toddlers
Snacks and Drinks are provided. Therefore, please leave personal cups and snacks at home.
Please leave personal toys at
home as well. |
Allergies
Please notify us of any allergies your child may have by completeing a Child Information Sheet and keeping it up-to-date. |

Nursery
Please ensure bottles/cups/snack containers are labeled.

Food Allergies
If your child has food allergies, please let us know what snacks/drinks are apprioriate so we may have them on hand. |

Additional Children's Ministries:
Children's Music Minisry - welcomes Mrs. Melodie Parson! 
Mrs. Meldoie not only loves music, but also loves children and seeing them grow in Christ through music! Your children will not only participate in music, they will learn music - notes, pitches, lyrics, parts, and much, much more! Mrs. Melodie has a wonderful team of ladies who graciously help her manage the children - Mrs. Debbie Cates, Mrs. Mary McCormick, Mrs. Jennifer Boyd, Mrs. Sara Dooley, Mrs. Carla Temple, Miss Jessica McCormick and Mrs. Debbie Westmoreland.

 Clubs meet on Sunday nights from 6-8 pm for ages 2-5th grade. Click here to visit the WOL website.
Vacation Bible School is held each summer and is open to members as well as children in the community ages 3 through 18. VBS is filled with fun activities, Bible teaching and crafts. This year's VBS will be held from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm the week of July 12-16, 2010. Check back soon for details closer to the event.
